HELP! Idylle speedy B Encre or Sepia??

Of the two choices, I would go with Sepia.

The material is not that durable though, you really need to baby it.
Try not to overstuff it either and alternate how you use the bag (ie. cross-body, hand carry, etc). I know from first hand experience.

I like the idylle because it seems lighter too. I don't want to spend 200 more on idylle if durability is an issue! now, back to square 1. sigh...

initially I was going for the damier speedy b

Don't get me wrong, I think the Idylle Speedy is beautiful but it's definately not as durable as the canvas styles...why not go for the DE Speedy B if that's what you originally wanted?

The damier seems to be a little heavier?? I'm not quite sure. And I read many posts on the quality issues of the damier..
