Help Identify the More Trendy Handbag, Please!

Which is the more Trendy Handbag of these three?

  • Phoebe in Black Violet

  • Rhyder 30 in Black

  • Taxi Tote Zip Top in Purple

I own three Coach Bags currently. I tend to use one bag for work/daily wear Mon-Fri until it dies down on me after a couple of years and then use another bag and so on. Weekends i do carry a different bag, most weekends. Not a huge fan of purse kits and am too lazy to switch out bags daily or weekly.

The bags i own are Phoebe in Black Violet, Zip Top Taxi Tote in Purple and Rhyder 30 in Black. Which out of the three is most trendy in your opinion?? I would want to use the more trendy bag out of the three first as classics/staple shapes, styles can be used anytime.

I think the Rhyder would be the most trendy of the three...The shape and color of both the Phoebe and the Taxi Tote seem more classic/staple to me, would you agree? I am going to use all bags in a month, i love them all, just thinking if Rhyder would be a good choice for work, its black would work with everything, and during summers and winters i could enjoy the purple hues of the Tote and the Phoebe?! What i would need to carry for work would fit in all 3, and all styles work for me. I want to identify the more trendy style and start using that as a daily workhorse... I have a garnet bag that i feel looks dated and dont wear it now anymore, wouldnt want that to happen to any of these three bags.

I own the same phoebe that you do! I think it is much more classic and would agree that your Ryder is the trendiest of the three listed here. I have to say that my Phoebe didn't wear very well, the corners started fading shortly after I got it though I usually tried to hang it up by its straps rather then setting it down anywhere. Maybe yours has fared better?

Thank You for confirming what i was thinking! Although i have not used the phoebe exclusively since i got her, but i have used her a fair bit. I jave been using her on most weekends, used her on a month long trip to a dry and a hot place, she was on the plane with me and is absolutely fine. Her corners show no wear. I would recommend using some conditioner on the corners. I generally condition my bags once every 1-2 months. That might help?

Thank You! I just want to use the more trendy bag as a workhorse, the others i can use on the weekends and because they won't show much wear as I won't be wearing them all the time, they will last me longer. But i won't mind and continue to use them since i know they won't end up looking dated! Thank You for your input, its a trival thing but it was important to me..

Thank You so much! I thought so but it's good to get confirmation. I just didn't want a bag looking dated after 1-2 years... I know i wont use use it then and i dont want that to happen. I love purple, so figured would be able to use the Phoebe and Taxi Tote later on without any remorse or getting tired of the bags itself.. Thank You :smile1:

Of the three, Rhyder is the trendiest, but not a trend that will be considered out of style in the near future. The other two are more classic looks.

My vote is definitely for Rhyder. Functional and professional looking. You'll make a statement with it. Next in line is phoebe. You'll be comfortable in it and are sure to get a ton of compliments but Rhyder wins for work. Taxi tote is not my personal favorite. JMO :). Enjoy your bags. I am sure you look great in all of them :)

I have the 33 in the Rhyder and it is my workhorse, I flippin' love that bag so much, and I truly never gave it a second thought when I saw it in the stores. Wasn't till I saw it on someone I decided I needed it, lol! Funny how that works....
