Hi everyone one! So I’m looking for a mini timeless bag and I’ve narrowed it down to the Lady Dior Mini or the Fendi Peekaboo Mini and possibly the Burberry DK88. I know this is the Dior forum but I would just like to get everyone’s opinion. So which do you guys think? And which would you guys say wears better and is more durable?

I really like all the bags, but the Dior has to be the prettiest and also the most timeless. The Dior could be used everyday and also the evening. When it comes to durability, I think the Burberry would be the most durable due to the leather it is made out of. At the same time, I do not like the texture and feel of the Burberry, it does not feel like leather, in my opinion. Which bag are you more leaning towards? Hope this could have helped you.

Thank you for your opinion! I agree that the Burberry leather doesn’t feel like leather. It has like borderline fabric feel. I’m honestly leaning towards the Lady Dior in a taupe color with the chain strap. But I’m not sure where the bag will fall on me if I use the chain strap as I’m only 5”2’ there’s no Dior stores where I live. I like the peekaboo too, but idk they’re both just so cute. Would u say the lambskin on the lady Dior is as delicate as the Chanel lambskin? That’s another reason why I’m hesitant. Same with the peekaboo, although I know it’s Napa leather they have

I am not sure how the chain would fall as I do not personally own a mini Lady Dior. I do have a few Dioramas. I am a bit more careful with them, but overall, they still look new. On the other hand, I would not be able to tell you about the Fendi as I do not own any Fendi.

Personally I do not think the Burberry looks special enough. I would go with the Lady Dior or the Peekaboo. The lady dior looks gorgeous and the chain strap gives the super classic look a modern touch. The peekaboo is understated luxury but you could always spice up the look with a straps and charms. Can't go wrong either way

Thanks for responding. Do you happen to know the quality of the Dior lambskin?

Love the Dior - but I also think the peekaboo mini is a timeless shape (just kind of small to be practical). I think the quality of those two will probably be higher than the DK88. I've seen Burberry bags with wear and tear over time and just across the board they do not age well.
