Help---how do you put a ticker in your signature?

I posted on the help forum weeks ago and didn't get a bit of help. I want to put a count down ticker in my signature (already have one made) but my HTML is turned off?? Is there another code I use instead??

I want my vacation countdown posted so I can get excited. LOL!
