I have the "Heidi" Large Shoulder Bag with the signature 'MK' fabric liningin cream. Does anyone have anything that has worked for them when trying to remove permanent marker from a fabric interior lining? I have tried a number of things, but not too much luck. This fabric is not easy to pull ink out of. I have attached a picture of the interior lining; if that helps at all. I would appreciate any help I can get....thanks!

I noticed that this was viewed 11 times as of now, but no one has helped you out... here's what I looked up on ehow; some of the steps can be done with this stain, but obviously some cannot (such as placing a towel under the stain). Hope these steps work for you. Good luck!

1. Place a folded piece of towel on the underside of the stain if possible—the undersides of couches and other upholstered fabric will not be accessible.

2
Spray hairspray, or dab rubbing alcohol directly onto the permanent marker stain. Do not rub it in. Let it sit for about 30 seconds.

3
Dab the stain with a damp piece of paper towel until the stain lightens. Reapply hairspray or rubbing alcohol as necessary.

4
Apply a small amount of toothpaste—it must be a paste, not a gel-type toothpaste—to the stain. Let it sit for a minute, then dab it off with a damp paper towel. Avoid scrubbing, as this can smudge the stain and make it bigger.

5
Keep dabbing at the stain with fresh, wet paper towel to lift the stain from the fabric.
