I have decided I "need" this bag after looking through all the pics here. I plan to use it only for work. I wear almost exclusively grey/black in fall/winter and browns in spring/summer. I would like to carry this bag year round. Any thoughts? My problem is I never mix brown and black hence this dilemma...

I had the same problem. I would get the Luggage (I have it and love it!). I don't mix brown and black either, however, the luggage color looks great with black. I personally wouldn't use the black Hamilton if I were wearing brown. Just my opinion. I also think the luggage color will be great whenever spring gets here. Usually that time of year I'm tired of dark color bags. Have fun deciding and let us know what you get!

Out of the 2 colors I would choose luggage....in fact I am considering this bag in luggage (or vanilla) as my spring/summer bag....Luggage is a perfect year round color and goes with anything in your wardrobe! Good luck with your decision!!!

I know I'm 100% alone in this - but I'm not a fan of the luggage color at all - there is something about that shade (camel, luggage, tan) that just looks kind of old-fashioned to me.

I have the Hamilton in black and love it, but at the time I bought it I never had one black leather bag (if you can believe that). I think thre black Hamilton with that heavy silver chain has kind of a cool biker-chic to it.

But of course never mind my opinion, go with what you love, but since you asked for opinions. . . . .

There is also a Hamilton color called "peanut" that I had seen for the first time in Macy's last week....it's more of a lighter camel where as the luggage is darker.....

Crissy-no, you're not alone in your thought about the luggage color. I always thought that it looked old-fashioned, too. But, then my DH surprised me with a luggage hamilton for my birthday last summer. I love the bag, but I think that I'd prefer the mocha color over luggage color. (I like the way luggage looks with an all-black outfit and some browns, but not with tans and greys.)

OP-I convinced myself that I needed the black hamilton as well, since I don't like to mix browns/blacks. But, I ended up returning it since I really didn't need a second hamilton. But for your situation, maybe you can get the black and mocha?? :graucho:

Sorry to ramble...Good luck with your decision!

Thanks. I think I may go with black. That's what I really want but since this is for work and I want just one bag that can work with every outfit!! I hate switching out of bags in the mornings. I think I may get the black now then get another color if there's a code later :graucho: Or just get out of my comfort zone and buy the luggage :confused1:...decisions..decisions...

My suggestion would be for a first Hamilton, go with Black. Then if you really love carrying the bag wait for a sale and get one in a different color. This is what I did. I bought black first last year then I loved it so much that I waited for another color to go on sale then scored the Amethyst Hamilton. I paid like 133 for it and I have no regrets. I love this bag. I think I am set now bec I own the black and purple/amethsyt color.

I also hate mixing colors but I got it in Luggage anyway (and Vanilla..) and I don't regret il at all. It stands out with my black or grey coats where the black Hamilton would not have. I don't regret my choice.

I'm having the same issue. I'm planning on buying my first MK bag too. I mostly have black bags and going towards the luggage color. Yes, decisions...decisions!!!
