HELP! Gucci Soho Scuffed!

Ya’ll, I’m mad! I just bought the Gucci Soho Disco last weekend in store after weeks of contemplation. I love the bag! It’s amazing. But, I’m finding myself disappointed in the quality. I bought the bag expecting it to be durable, but after a handful of uses there’s already scuff marks on one of the corners. I don’t even know how it happened; I’m very careful using it and storing it. What do you think I should do? Any use contacting Gucci? Any way to remove the scuff?

I would take it in also. I have the beige disco and carry it often because it is so durable and carefree. I’ve had it about a year and there isn’t any corner wear yet. Good luck!

It's really hard to see. Maybe because of the color. Did you rub it a little with your finger? You might be able to blend it. I am surprised it's brand new, as I didn't think they made this color anymore. I have not seen it in years.

I have had the rose beige version for over 2 years and it's not showing any wear. Maybe you are rougher on it than you thought? If it comes in contact with something that is textured and rough like the sidewalk or brick walls, it's gonna scratch.

Yeah, it’s not terribly noticeable. I’m afraid to rub it, as it might get worse. Yep, the still sell black. Both Gucci’s I have been to in the past couple weeks have them and they’re still sold online. I don’t think I’ve been too rough with the bag at all. According to the Gucci SA it could be from rubbing on jeans, or pretty much anything else. So apparently it’s not as durable as I thought, or at least the recently made bags. I try to be very careful with it, and will continue to do so. I just learned my lesson with soft leather bags haha

This worries me a bit lol since I recently got the same bag. I often find myself somehow knicking the bag with my nails and worry I’ll end up scratching it. So i hope it holds up.

When this happens to my bags, I also rub it with my finger (even better: I wet my finger with a little spit, just like grannies do).
It works pretty well on your type of leather, and if it does not make it better, it won't make it worse.
