My sister and I have finally decided it's time to go for it, the Birkin or maybe the kelly! And I've learned a lot just researching here, thank you all for that.
I understand it's nearly impossible to get a birkin or kelly on your first visit, but I'm planing to try my luck at the Madison location in Manhattan in a few days(learned here in the madison vs wallst thread,lol). And here goes my questions:
1. Is there a better day of the week, better time of the day I should go?
2. My sister won't be able to make it to the store with me. She is almost 6 feet,180cm, medium build, should she get the 35 or go larger? We don't want to have a awkward size pairing moment, you know, when you carry a bag, it just doesn't look right because the size is awkwardly not big enough not small enough.
3.We are also planning to purchase a belt for dad, we want to get him the leather belt with the H letter in Gold hardware. But this is where I got stuck, I couldn't really find a lot of info on men's belt. From your experience and knowledge, what widths are available for men? I know there's the 32mm leather, would this be too skinny for men?
4. Is this belt and belt buckle easy to get? Would I be able to at least get the belt and buckle at the Madison or Wall St. location?
