My friend recently went to Europe and knowing her she would be shopping til she drop for so many nice handbags. She showed me some of the bags and my eyes caught this Chloe shoulder bag. Now I am not familiar with Chloe bags and this is my first Chloe. I am also confused if this is a lambskin leather or a faux one.I do not understand the labeling :sad:
I have been googling for this bag but I can't find the same style online. Hmm..I am now worried if this is a good buy or I might as well sell it.
I have a feeling of a bit of regret that I should've purchase a Tory Burch bag because I do not own one yet and I just bought a Nappa ballet flats lately and thought of pairing it up with a TB bag.

Pls. enlighten me or should I say help me..what is your honest opinion about this bag and is Chloe a good brand ? Btw, this is made in Bulgaria..hmmm???And if this is a polyester bag,is it not good ?

Hi, I am sorry, but I don't know this bag. Never seen any similar Chloe. Are you sure it is a real one? I don't mean to be rude, I am just asking.

If it is a real Chloe I doubt it is faux leather. Their bags are extremelly well crafted and last forever, so I wouldn't even compare it to Tory Burch (nothing against TB, Chloe is just much better). Take your bag to a Chloe store/reseller and ask them if it is the real deal.

Anyway, if I were to buy a first Chloe it would be a Paddington (I know, I know, but I love it - I don't know if they still sell them), a Paraty (what's not to love?), an Elsie (so delicate!) or a Marcie (any of them, but the gray one is just sublime). Chloe makes quality bags.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to comment.I have a good feeling that it is real as my friend wouldn't lie to me.She sells bag actually her family has a store/boutique.So they buy bags all the time.
I just found a website and they are selling the same bag http://item.rakuten.co.jp/outleta/n2168/

Also, I registered my serial number on Chloe's website and I am waiting for the response from them as well.

It's ok to be straight.No worries :)

I just commented again on your other thread! Loving the bag now. The more I look at it the more it appeals to me. And it is a good thing that it is not a common bag. It is more exclusive.

Chloe is my #1 handbag company. I love my Chloes.

It looks authentic although I personally don't remember that exact model,but some models that were very similar. But, sometimes there are different models in Europe than here in the States. I shop for handbags in Paris every year and for decades have many times come home with certain handbag models, from different designers, that I didn't see here at home.

And although Tory Burch makes some nice bags, to me comparing a Chloe bag to a Tory Burch bag is about like comparing a BMW to a Kia. Chloe is not only great quality, but also classy and cool.

Where did the friend buy the bag? In a department store? On the street? That should answer whether or not it's authentic. However, at first I didn't understand if you were wondering whether the leather was faux or the bag was faux as why would an authentic Chloe be made with faux leather?

à propos of Chloe, I've never bought one yet, even if I am very attracted by the Paddington. What colour would you choose for your 1st Paddy? And why?
(the question is about what nuance is the most flattering for this particular shape-size of bag)

Hi, Sirena, I would go for a chocolate brown paddington. I am not very fond of black paddingtons because I think the colour is too harsh for the style of the bag (and I usually love black bags). And since it is an already gorgeous bag, I don't think bright colours are the best way to go because the bag may be too flashy. Good luck on your search!

Hi, thanks for the comments. This bag is definitely authentiv because my friend bought it from Chloe boutique in France and I also went to the store here and they told me it is a real Chloe purse.
I am actually loving the bag now more than ever.Here's a photo of me carrying it :)


P.S. I am actually not comparing Tory B and Chloe bags. I was at first just thinking if I should've just purchase the TB bag bec. I wanted to own one and was thinking of pairing it up with my Reva :)

With apologies to OP, I wonder if it might be a replica of an Eden? I haven't ever seen one irl, but the pics I've seen on line have some significant differences, such as the tag etc. See http://www.shopstyle.com/browse?fts=chloe+eden for multiple examples. Sorry. :(
