Im looking for a jewelry set that are similiar to the necklace/earrings from pretty woman. But everything Ive found has been fake fashion jewelry. Does anyone know of seller that might have a similiar jewelry style but not necessarily costing hundreds of thousands of dollars. I dont mind CZs but I would prefer the jewelry to be at least 14k-18k gold. I found a site (www.emitations.com) that has necklace styles that I like but its not precious metals.
Help!!

You might check QVC.com or Ross-Simons.com.

I think the style of necklace you are looking for might be difficult to find ready-made at this time because of the cost. Since the economy tanked, it seems like the jewelry is simpler with less stones to bring the cost down.

Have you thought about going custom with a local jeweler? You could then choose the stones you wanted, and to keep some of the cost down you could go with semi-precious gems like garnet, amethyst, blue topaz, etc. instead of ruby, sapphire or emerald. White sapphire or white topaz could substitute for diamonds.

Good Luck!

Thanks!! Yeah it seems like everything is now sterling silver instead of gold which is really a waste as far as resale value. Normally, I wouldnt care but this is a gift for my sister so Id rather not give someone plated silver or whatever nonsense thats available today. Custom may cost more due to labor though no? It couldnt hurt to try though. :)
