Help EXPANDING Coach Collection

I recently freed up some funds to expand my Coach Collection. I am in love with Coach’s leather.

Below is a picture of what I currently own:



I know my collection is small right now. I am working on making purchases that expand BUT meet my fashionable and functional needs rather than buying off of gut instinct.

With that being said below is a picture of the bag I just purchased today:



The Cassie, just love the color scheme and snakeskin handle detail. Unfortunately it’s an online exclusive so I couldn’t pick it up in store or even see it before buying.

Since I am wanting to expand my COACH portion, any suggestions for timeless COACH additions are welcomed! Not looking for any accessories or wallets, just handbags.

A general suggestion if you are in love with the leather on the above bags is to get a style in the 1941 glovetanned leather. The 1941 leather takes it up another notch! Rogue is a really popular choice for glovetanned pebbled leather and for smooth glovetanned try a dinky or even a bedford hobo depending on which silhouette you prefer.

I would look at the Nomad bags at your local outlet as well...they are F-creeded remakes of a retail bag, but quality is the same, and the smooth glovetanned leather on them is divine. They are even lined completely in leather. Gorgeous bags.

You have some nice pieces there! I would also recommend the 1941 line - the Rogue is a popular choice for its design and quality. You can get a good bargain in the Coach sale for a Rogue at the moment!

I love the Charlie carryall. Both in regular (sometimes known as medium) size, and the 28. The rogue is very popular, and the Tabby.

I like the Rogue, Cooper carryall and Charlie Carryall. I also have a couple of Parker shoulder bags, i thought it's really elegant looking

agree....your collection will grow as you find what you like.....I have about 12 bags and although that's not a large collection for the PF, I sometimes forget about some of my bags and wish for the days when I just carried the same one all the time

I love the Rogue and Parker. Huge fan of the Saddle 23 too. They have some on the outlet page right now with snakeskin straps. I own 7 saddle bags - they're my favorite lol!

The 1941 bags are really nice. There have been some coming up on FOS recently.

For current bags I think the dreamer shoulder bag and the Cassie seem very functional and timeless. I also liked the all leather Rileys people posted photos of.

For 1941 I have the turnlock saddle in black and I love it but it is on the small side (more than dinky less than saddle 23 I think). People seem to love the dinky 24 though it seems hard to get now even on eBay.

I would have liked to get a saddle 23 myself but all the colors I liked sold out right away when they went on SAS.

I have several bags I got used from the 2012 legacy collection and my only complaint is that the leather is bad if it gets wet. I really like the legacy Willis. I also love the Penny's but they are small for a lot of people.

I would also recommend adding one or two vintage bags if they are your taste. Vintage courts are much less $ than the current Cassie. The vintage Regina or Madison Gracie are similar to the Parker top handle. I have the Regina and love it. I like that you can wash these bags and maintain them to last for years. The pocket purse style is also very versatile it seems.

I would also add one of the crossgrain bags. I like to use these for travel as I don't have to worry about the weather. I got these MFF so I also wouldn't be heartbroken if for some reason they were stolen. I personally hate to travel with nice bags for fear they will be ruined or stolen.
