Hi! I want to ask if you find the Dionysus’ chain straps rolling off of your shoulders?

I used mine for the first time yesterday but it seems to roll off every time I use it in single by my side. I have to constantly hold the bag so that it won’t roll off..

Do you experience the same thing too?

I experience this with nearly every bag that isn’t crossbody. I have sloping shoulders [emoji31]. When using my small Dionysus, I have to hold it right where the chain meets the bag. Or kinda swing behind me and my elbow keeps it in line.

Thanks for your input! Is it a deal breaker for you when that happens? I am quite unsure about the rolling off but I really do love the bag so I am torned.. [emoji29]

Yes and even worse because I like to wear the strap doubled; plus I bought the mini, which barely fits anything, so I don’t wear mine very often.

Thanks. Why did you decide to keep despite this problem? I want to talk myself into keeping this bag... I already got rid of my Marmont Flap because of the size..

I wonder if going to a cobbler and asking him to sew a little leather shoulder ‘pad’ over the chain would solve the problem? And add a velcro or those ‘push buttons’ to it to make it removable?

That sounds nice. Just like those leather pads on other bags.. I guess I’ll use it more this week and try to decide if it annoys me too much or not..

Yes sadly. I have loved the look of this bag forever, finally bought it this year and it’s a bit of a pain. Rolls off my shoulder all the time. Yesterday I was walking along holding a hot coffee, it rolled off my shoulder, hit the coffee and sent it flying all over my coat. Hmmm.
