help deciding

all right. i am a total college student and i am definitely in need of a purse. ive gotten it narrowed down to two. and i can only afford on of them. the price difference is kinda outrageous but i can't help it.

ohh and im not sure what color either.

obviously the LV only has two colors. and the dooney im leaning towards fushia, turquoise or white. not sure what color.

i dont have any other purses so i wanna be able to use it a lot. and i need space.

gotta be able to fit my iphone, inhaler, cash/credit cards and occasionally my ds or psp or both.

I'd go for the LV Speedy too - but maybe in a different colour?

Don't get me wrong, I love the colour it is, but I've just got my boring practical head on and think, is it going to get grubby if you're using it day in, day out?

I'd go for the Dooney. For practicality reasons, I think even if you put many things in it, it would hug your body. The ads with Hayden Patettiere (sp) make that bag look like a million bucks.

As much as I love LV, in your circumstances I would have to day the Dooney. Unless, of curse, you would consider a different style LV I don't think a hand-held bag would be the best choice for school. JMO.

If you're only going to have one bag, I'd pick the LV. The DB is really pretty and I love the colors you've selected, but I'm not sure that they would work for you long term. The LV is classic and you will be able to use it for a long time.

Decisions decisions... I agree with Compass Rose in that Dooney is much more practical for everyday use. Also, if you're worried about spending too much money on one, and it is a huge commitment to purchase the LV, I'd go for the Dooney so that you could save up for another fab bag in the future. That way you could have both! Dooney (fuscia) now and LV later. You need at least two bags...
