My wife is thinking about 2 sets for her next purchase and was uncertain which one to choose. She already have a full malachite set from VCA which consist of 6 motifs necklas, 5 motifs bracelet, Magic ring & Magic earrings. She Also has the 5 motifs RG hammered bracelet.

She is now looking for a kinda daily set in RG that she can wear. The options she is considering are:

Clash from Cartier

or Perlee & Alhambra from VCA

Would appreciate your inputs and experince with any of the pieces.

Clash IMO has more of a rock and roll attitude. I happen to love the perlee ring you chose, but I think that one is more dependent on how one feels when one tries it on in person. It is an unpopular opinion of mine, but I’m starting to think alhambra is a bit overplayed. Some of our members live in areas where they do not see alhambra IRL. In NYC, in my neck of the woods, it feels like you see it quite often. JMO though. All of these choices are very beautiful.

I could happily go with both too :D

If you have other Cartier, and want to wear everyday in every way, I'd stick to the more modernist vibe, but if you have and enjoy other colourful VCA pieces (and that is a gorgeous ring and earring 'set') and are thinking more statement, the Perlee is a gorgeous way to make a splash, yet not ostentatious.

As much as I LOVE and am coveting some VCA Perlee pieces (single row diamond bangle I'm looking at you!), I have the full set of Clash pieces: Small necklace (that, and the d'Amour pendant are on 24/7 unless I decide to wear something else), small earrings (wear at least 1x a week), med ring and med bangle (wear 4-5x a week). I get SO much wear out of these pieces they've become the no-brainer uniform that always makes me look and feel put together. So, my vote goes to that. Edgy yet sleek. I've gotten compliments from people who admire my "studded ring/bracelet" but don't know what it is.

Both beautiful and you can't go wrong. The Clash is my vote, but if your wife's style is very delicate and feminine most of the time, the Clash may not vibe with her overall look. However, if she changes up her look frequently, I think the Clash would be great for when she wants a more edgy feel.

Personally I'm more of an industrial/clean-line jewelry sort of person. Not particularly feminine or girly.
So I'd go for the Clash. :P

I do have a bit of a soft spot for the Alhambra bracelet and necklaces but I know myself and I do not have the patience to take care of such things currently.

Yes same here—a lot of compliments and questions about the studs. And I show them how the studs can move and they’re so impressed haha.

I just noticed that your profile pic has two frenchies!! So adorable  !! I don’t have a dog but I’ve always wanted a French bulldog.

We just got a third! Because we're suckers for punishment. And apparently he's a Clash fan because he loves to try to nibble on my bracelet and ring because of the movable studs.

I love the clash but I just really want it to be in yellow gold so that it matches my Love and JUC. I hum and haw about maybe just getting it in white gold for the sake of it being different but I think I will have regrets so I've been sitting on my hands waiting for Cartier to release this in yellow gold.

In my personal opinion, the Clash is much better for everyday wear than the VCA you've shared. I think it's much more subtle and wearable.
