Hi all!!

I have a bit of a dilemma. My MK collection currently consists of a sapphire jet set top zip, sapphire large sutton, and a pearl grey selma. I adore them all for different reasons. I have fallen in love with the new grape selma; however, due to my budget I almost always sell a bag to make room for a new one (plus I try to keep my designer bag collection small so I can enjoy what I have).
If I were to sell a bag to buy the grape selma it would be my sapphire sutton. I adore the color sapphire and my jet set is way too pretty and practical to get rid of (I literally carried it from May to July without switching out of it). When I initially got my sutton it was my favorite bag, but I was surprised to find that my selma is more practical to carry. I got my pearl grey selma after the sutton; I love the zip top and the sturdier leather. I also like the way it hangs by the shoulder strap without twisting like my sutton.
I got my sapphire sutton for a great deal though, and it really is a beautiful bag. My main concern is that I will regret selling it since it's so hard to find now. I can say that I probably won't buy more suttons in the future though since it's just not as practical for me. So should I go for the selma in grape and sell my sapphire or just be happy with what I have? Sorry for such a long post, and thanks for your input!!

Hmm I'd say keep your Selma and buy the grape Selma and sell the Sutton. It is clearly not as practical to you as the Selmas are. And since yoy got it for a great deal you can make a good sale? Hope this helps!

I think you are probably right; going to think on it some more but ultimately the sutton just isn't as practical for me. So ironic because before I had both I thought I liked the sutton so much better than the selma!

I still adore that color, but I have my jet set in that color so I'll still have something in sapphire. If I didn't already have a sapphire bag I probably wouldn't sell my sutton. I know that color isn't for everyone though. I think it looks nice on you though! You have a mandarin sutton too right?

You've gotten such great use out of your sapphire Sutton, so shouldn't feel bad if it's time to sell it and move on. You'll still have the color with your jet set top zip tote. I say use the Sutton for a bit longer, say goodbye, and then get the grape Selma. My center stripe Sutton doesn't get as much use as my other bags, but I love the colors so much that I probably will keep it for the long term, even with some of the cons of the bag.
