First, I should say that before I took my new Speedy anywhere, I Scotch-Garded her twice to prevent stains!

Yesterday I wore my Mini Lin Dune Speedy for only the second time, and wore it with a navy top and dark jeans (which have been washed) while we were out in Manhattan. A couple hours after we'd gone out, I noticed a blueish tint along the front and back of the bag where it had rested against my clothes. I panicked and immediately bought some alcohol free baby wipes and went to a Starbucks, sat down and scrubbed at it for awhile. Didn't help. This morning the blueish tint is still there on both sides of the bag!!

I scrubbed at it again and let it dry-- several hours later the blue is STILL there! Is it permanent? Can I not even wear this bag with any dark clothing?? I am so upset and frustrated that I spent all this time trying to be careful with this bag and it is RUINED!!

Any ideas? :crybaby:

I normally use magic eraser... ive only had denim colour transfre on vachetta though. Im not too sure if you can use magic eraser on that fabric though....

Maybe Folex? I hope you can clean it.

Folex-- is it fabric cleaner? I'm wondering if carpet cleaner would work! Now that I looked at it again, it's not incredibly awful.... but still... I'm wondering, should I just let it get dirty so I don't worry about it, or freak out and clean it every time there is a color transfer? :confused1:

Hello. I know this is a very old thread. But I just bought a vintage mini lin josephine cerise. There was a small stain so I followed this advice and washed it with a bit of water but the fabric turned pink! I ruined the bag. Is it that the bag was a fake or could it have happened because it is a vintage?
