Help! Coach soho crossbody : the brass part of the strap peeling off

i have had my Coach soho crossbody for more than 6 months now and have been using it almost everyday. I noticed the brass part of the strap is peeled off pretty bad. Anyone know what should i do? Will they help me if take it back to the store for maintanance?

Looks like the coating on the black copper hardware has come off; I would take it to a store, and see what they say. Unfortunately, this is a known problem...hope Coach will help you!

I'm not sure, never dealt with international purchases...hope someone else can chime in!
