Help: Chanel mini square screw fell off: need replacement

Hi Ladies,
I recently noticed two of my gold screws behind the CC bucket part fell off. I was out using my purse and noticed it was gone. I'm no where near any Chanel stores and I've read some posts here that they won't replace the screws anymore. I've contacted the Leather Surgeon, Modern Leather Goods and this other person on IG to see if they can sell me the replacement screws. None of them said they would unless I come in or mail it in. I'm not close to any of these stores and I really don't want to spend money just to mail in my purse when I think it's easy enough to get the screws and do it myself. What do you ladies think? I'm asking to see if you guys know where I can get gold replacement screws? I've tried all avenues and don't know what to do. Thanks!!!

I don't think you have a choice but to either mail it in or make the trek to your nearest Chanel boutique. You might risk doing further damage to the bag by trying to cram in non original parts into the holes. I'd be weary to try and fix this myself...you don't want to damage such an expensive bag.

I feel your pain, happened to me on a M/L size- bag had only been used 3 times......

Had Chanel fix it for free, but you know what ---kind of turned me off on that bag even though it's beautiful, I've rarely used it since--won't sell it, but I hesitate to grab it unless going somewhere nearby, like out to dinner or to a wedding. Now when I go out of town, I always take a LV--much more dependable for me, but not as luxurious......
