In desperate need of help!

I'll be in Vietnam for two months and I desperately need a side bag. Last year when I went, I took along my jumbo and oh did it break my heart for the wear and tear I put it through (it was also on the larger side for what I needed it for - daily use). This year I decided to get an actual side bag that I could bring along with me and it wouldn't be in my way so much and would be lighter, which lead me to debate between the WOC or Eva. However, I've purchased the Eva before....used it for a day, and I didn't really like it much so I got rid of it.

The WOC is more my style, but I don't know if it'll be too "small" for my height (I'm 5'7" ish) and how much it can actually hold. For the most part what I'll be carrying are: lip balm, lipstick, eyelash glue, & eyeliner pencil - my cellphone and a thin pack of baby wipes + hand sanitizer.

From what I've read the Eva does hold more than what a WOC can, but the style is a little too "casual?" I even thought of the YSL Chain bag (strap is too short), LV alma bb (can't be worn for everything - ie. casual, nights, sporty, etc), Celine box bag (too casual, just in case I need it for nights out) - in the end, the WOC fits for all my needs (style wise) but I feel as I'm too tall & it'll hit and look very awkward on me. (Do any of you tall girls have the WOC? What are your thoughts?)

So....any input, thoughts or suggestions would be very much appreciated. (Sorry for the lengthy post)

Have you thought of Rebecca Minkoff. I use mine for my kids' football games, and they hold quite a bit. But it's very old so the quality may be different now. I also love my Coach Penny bag, but I don't even know if the brand still sells it since my is vintage. All the bags that you have listed are high-end so I don't know if these second tier designers would appeal to you. I just know that those two have taken quite beating and look amazing.

I love my Chanel WOC but I find that sometimes space is a bit limited for everyday use, so similar small bags with crossbody options that I also use are:
- Bottega Veneta mini messenger
- Gucci disco bag
- Celine trio (both regular and large)

I'm not tall, but I personally think the WOC looks good on everybody!

Actually I think the WOC and Eva carry similar amounts, because the space taken up by a wallet in the Eva is saved in the WOC.

I own a WOC and a Favorite mm (slightly bigger than Eva) and my WOC fits almost everything my favorite does. This is what I can comfortably fit in the WOC:

-All my regular wallet contents in the card slots and front zip compartment.
-a pair of earphones also in the front zip compartment
-lip balm
-small mascara
-Bath and body works pocketbac
-Keys in LV multicles
-Iphone 5
-thin pack of tissues
-multicolor pen sitting on top.

This is leaving the full-length back pocket empty, I usually carry either some feminine hygiene products in the back, or a full pack of mini stabilo pens (I'm a student :P), but putting anything in the back makes the bag look stuffed, so I avoid it when I can.

In my favorite, I carry pretty much all of the above, but it takes up more room because I use a small wallet and a small cosmetic pouch for my makeup/sanitizer.

Also, I'm 5'4 and I can only carry the woc crossbody, the strap is so long! I don't think you'll have any issues with it being too short on you.

I am 5'7 and carried my WOC all over NYC. I loved it! And I liked how I could change the look b/c the strap is so versatile. I think what you are going to put in it will fit.

I would get the Chanel WOC in black Caviar leather! I a 5"6 and the size is perfect on me, not small at all! The bag is very versatile and durable, a true classic!

But I also have to say that the RM Mini Mac is a great (and much cheaper) choice! The leather is gorgeous and it is so versatile and easy to use! I bought a black one with rose gold hardware and it does fit more than the WOC.

I personally do not like the Eva so much. The plate on the mono version is nicer in my opinion (not so flashy) but you have to worry about the untreated leather. Damien Ebene is my favorite print (I have the Speedy B 25 in that print and it is soon durable), but as I said I do not like the large plate on it.

Have you considered the Miss Dior Promenade pouch? It holds more than the Chanel WOC.

Here is a thread on it:

I have attached pictures of the pearlized Opaline lambskin. It also comes in several different colours with different hardware choices (also comes in patent). It's one of the best-selling Dior bags.
