Help buying a Birthday present

I agree with the user who said to think about your daughters’ style. That’s important!
also think about what she carries with her regularly - is she just a phone, keys wallet gal? Or does she have a makeup kit, a tablet, sunglasses or anything else?
Im a few years older than your daughter - bought a large business affinity and really can’t wait to use it (it’s a Christmas present!) and I like that it’s classic without being too common. I think an iPad mini would fit in it, but am not sure. Nobody has suggested this one so I thought I’d throw it out there - there are two other sizes too - a small and a mini.
without knowing your daughter or what she likes, I also think a Boy would be worth a look. It’s modern, could be dressed up or down, and doesn’t seem as fussy as other chanel flap styles.

This is a surprise gift for her and she is one of those college students who buys many clothes but wears the same xxl t-shirts and short shorts everyday; I really can't figure out what her style is lol. This gift is mainly for her to use while going out for dinner with friends or colleagues. She is recruited to be a management consultant after she graduates so will be traveling pretty much the whole week. She will need a bigger bag for travel and I don't know if she would feel comfortable carrying a Chanel or any branded bag to work.
I just looked up business affinity and it looks pretty nice. I am looking for one for daily use and might get one for myself. Mind sharing where I can find it? Thank you.

This will be her first luxury designer bag. Agree with you on sticking to a solid color. I am looking for something classic that also appeals to youngsters.
I would suggest a Wallet on chain! It’s perfect for travel and is small enough to hang on crossbody plus the laptop bag etc (I am a management consultant) ... I realised I need a laptop bag or backpack plus a nice lady bag for my money cards etc .
The small WOC will also work for nights out and dinner
Haha I remember those days of college too! Sometimes you just want to be comfy. Once she starts working she’ll probably curate her wardrobe a bit differently but will likely dress relaxed on weekends.

I work in the MC industry as well - I started my job during the pandemic and haven’t been to the office yet so I can’t comment on ladies’ style around the office and who carries designer/lux but I did buy myself a LV Neverfull for my daily office bag. I do not work on the client side so I won’t be traveling as much as your daughter likely will when things go back to “normal”.
I saw someone recommend a Wallet on Chain, and I kind of love that idea for her with all this info! She can put it in her daily tote/work bag and use it for dinners with friends or coworkers, or going out on weekends. Also easy to dress up and down! I have a Boy style WOC and purchased it for a similar reason (for traveling, maybe keeping in my work tote, and for going to the casino with my SO).
I purchased my Business Affinity from a Chanel boutique last month, I went to Boston since that’s my local botique. My SA ordered it for me from another store though. I’m not sure if the department stores that carry Chanel get them but there are threads around for SA information and what people have seen in boutiques, (I’m on mobile or I’d link you!) so that may help.

A mini. Fits more than a WOC; is cute and classic. If she loves logos, then a classic. If she doesn’t, a reissue. If she likes jewelry, either gold or phw. If not, how about so black. . .
