Bought from fashionphile. Seems authentic and in pretty good shape except for this issue. Can I fix it myself? Send for repair? Or just not worth the hassle and try to return?

If this is your only issue with this vintage Chanel Flap, I believe that with a great deal of patience you'll be able to fix this yourself. I've had this happen and have been able to "rework" the chain myself. Best of luck!
