Help-advice needed: yg vintage alhambra or turquoise?

Lovely tPf members....
Which would you feel looks best to wear with the white MOP yg 20 motif?

1) yg vintage alhambra- all gold
2) yg (or wg?) turquoise....

I can see where each might have it's advantages....would the all gold plus mop strands look best together...more classic??

Is the turquoise so special, however, that I should not let it get away?

Price increase TOMORROW......!!!
btw- all three are not an option....LOL....

I have not seen the all yg strand or seen the two together....Neimans is very low on stock. Almost everything is on hold right now while customers take time to decide. While my SA was kind to show me pieces that were on hold for other customers, she did not have ANY all yg to show me......
No tigers eye left, either....although it looks gorgeous on line.

Turquoise/YG girliegirl! Nothing is more stunning with MOP Y/G. I find the all gold Alhambra pieces can be easily substituted with other all gold chains for a mix but there is nothing like that turquoise/YG out there!

I was so afraid that somebody would tell me this...(get the turq+yg)
I have the turq w/ yg on hold but I am getting really nervous because this is a lot to spend to regret later....I keep seeing postings of the turq + the wg and it looks so fresh and pretty. If I wear it alone, the gold doesn't need to match.
Additionally, I am back to the whole 10 motif (2) vs 20 motif debate.....
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

This is too funny, TxGirl! I bought the turq/yg 20 motif, then the all gold 20, and just ordered the MOP. :D I debated a long time between adding the MOP or the onyx, but in the end MOP won. This is kinda the reverse of your process.

I have to tell you, the turq/yg is by far my fav!

Cavalier girl, you are absolutely KILLING ME.
I have even been going back and forth about the all yg. Perhaps I just need to march over and raid your collection...ha ha ha!
So, it makes sense to get the 20 strand in turq because if I order two 10's (like I did in MOP) the blues might not match, correct?
That said, wouldn't it be pretty to have the two 10 option and wear the short version....one strand of mop + turq (or gold?).....
I have two sweet little girls...each can get one someday.

So the MOP/YG 20 is a definite yes and you are debating #2 in a 20?

I would stay stick with the 20 motif if it is in your budget. They will be ridiculous expensive tomorrow.

And I still say....turquoise, turquoise, turquoise! :graucho: I so wish I could have those two necklaces but they are out of reach for me now.

option #2 is turquoise w/ yg
option #3 is all yg....the plain strand.

For all of these....two 10's or one 20 motif?

Sorry for the confusion...my head actually hurts and I am getting nothing done because I can't get away from this forum.....ha ha ha....

I saw on the VCA thread you were considering pave diamond. Now that's a whole different ballgame as opposed to plain gold! Have you ruled it out?
