So here's the deal. I'm a straight guy that loves carrying women's purses. I'm basically addicted to shopping for purses and matching wallets. I have developed a liking to the styles and functionality of women's bags. Thankfully I can control my spending and only own a handful of bags which are leather and mostly Coach.

Today I decided my bag passion is sliding out of control. If I wasn't able to contain my spending, I would probably own more bags than many of you. So I came up with a plan. I am going to buy one functional, usable, and stylish leather bag that I can use for three months. At the end of those three months, I will sell the bag for whatever the value might be, and purchase a new bag to replace it. Many of my bags now are getting little to no use. This becomes wasteful and pointless and is the reason I am beginning this new effort.

Now I really like shoulder hobos but the ones I own are relatively small. This is an older style but I was thinking of looking into a Coach Colette Satchel like the one below. But if any of you can suggest a bag, please let me know. I'm not much into man bags because those styles are pretty boring. I'm also not worried about looks, glares, and stares, because carrying the Coach Colette leather convertible wristlet I posted below, you can imagine the looks, glares, and stares I have gotten in public. Noone has said anything to me negatively but that's probably because of my size.

Your suggestions are welcome. I am open to all brands, styles, form factors, and colors. I would probably want to stick with more standard designer brands or less as opposed to premium designer brands that are in the thousands considering this bag will be used daily. Thanks guys!

How about a pre-loved Alexander Wang Rocco? I think it's a great bag for guys with a rock 'n' roll edge. Can be worn cross-body or hand-held. I absolutely love the bag.

The bag retails for $975 USD for the medium size, but can be found much cheaper pre-owned. Before you buy it, just be sure to get it authenticated here: http://forum.purseblog.com/threads/authenticate-this-alexander-wang.479457/

I second the Rocco - I love mine and it's got enough edge for any guy to pull it off. Longchamp also has some great styles. 3D, Penélope and several others might be worth looking into.

I suggest doing some shopping on Fashionphile because whatever bag you buy from them can be resold back to them at 70% within 120 days. This buyback scheme could work out perfectly for you since you want to change bags every 3 months. Cos frankly selling a bag, no matter the brand. takes much longer than it takes to buy it :P
