HELP! 35cm Gris Tourtelle or 30cm Etoupe ???

Hi again, I've had a little bit of luck in my search for my first Birkin. YAY !!

Its a little hard to decide cause both bags are interstate and I can't try them for size. I am 170cm or 5"7 and am 160kgs....I don't know which size to get for my height...ideally I would love the Etoupe in a 35cm but I think the 30cm is too small....I've seen both colours and I like both....any suggestions Ladies ???

I tend to carry medium to large bags, mainly totes cause I lug around abit . This is a big investment so I want to make the right decision if you know what I mean. Do you think the Gris is too light a colour and easy to get stained for everyday use ??

Gris T is not a colour suitable for a "workhorse" bag. Etoupe, maybe. Even then I would recommend darker colours for everyday use.

I think you will find 30cm too small.

hmm, yes i think the 30cm may be too small and the Gris is a little light for everyday....does that mean I shouldp pass ?? I'll have to wait forever for another 35cm to come in...and I love the Etoupe..such a nice colour.....

i have to give my SA an answer by the end of the day :confused1:

Like you said, it's a big investment. You cannot afford to compromise when it comes to H bags. But you need to balance your decision ~ rational versus emotional. It is never easy, I assure you. If you can't wait anymore, grab the 35 Gris T. You just can't throw it about, KWIM? You will need to give it a wipe to keep the dirt away. Scruffed corners are obvious. I have one in 30cm Togo, and I say from my personal experience. And I don't throw my Gris T birkin about, unlike my Chocolate Boxcalf which is my throw-around bag.
