Eva Longoria has one and I think she is under 5 feet. It looks great on her! Also can you post pics? I don't think I've seen the Francine in white patent.

I think if you like it and it's functional for you, you should keep it! Scoring a Francine at the outlet is a rare find indeed! It's a large bag and you can fit tons in it, which can be good for the kiddo aspect. I had a Teal one 2 years ago that I also found at the outlet and I sold it because it was just too large for my liking. I hated to get rid of it though, it's such a pretty bag!
I'd be torn -

But, it's big (esp for 4'10") and heavy (esp when you're trying to handle 4 kids too) and white (did I mention the 4 kids?). Patent is "easy" but...
I wouldn't return it.
BUT, I don't think it's THE everyday bag for you.
Do keep it, it's your birthday gift!
I think you need a crossbody bag in a durable dark leather too!
