Hello and a quick question

Hi,

I just bough my first Balenciaga bag over ebay from a seller with 100% positive feedback, including buyers stating that the bag they received was authenticated. However, I continuously hear that ebay is full of fake bags and was wondering if anyone could help me as to how I can tell if it is authetic or not? I am really curious as it was quite expensive.

Sorry hun, I hope you didn't pay too much for it? I had a marron (chocolate) city from last season.. I can post comparison shots for you to see if you want...

EDIT: if you didn't receive it yet, maybe you can tell the seller you changed your mind and to ask for a refund?

gosh, this makes me wanna cry :cry: ...i'm so sorry MariaG, but i'm 99% sure this isn't real...i would tell the seller to keep the bag & issue you a refund

Here you go... this will help you differentiate some of the details.

They are subtle: shape of the buckles, appearance of the back of the rivets, leather quality (though mine was particurly veiny), the information on the metal tag (letter should be "Z" not "C").

Email the seller immediately and demand you want your money back. I wouldn't even accept the package when it comes.
The bag is 100% fake.

Thanks, that was really helpful because I find it so hard to spot the differences when you don't have a direct comparison! I feel that the leather is extremely different most of all, right?

marie, i'm sorry that one is definitely a fake. the leather and the hardware is all wrong. the number 1 on the tag is wrong. contact the seller and ask for a refund. good luck to you.
