I have a pair of Loro piana block heeled sandals and the heel area is super hard.
I put down a gel cushion but it hasn't made much difference.
Any tips to make it more comfortable?
Maybe a specific brand of cushion ( I got mine on Amazon and it's actually for the toe area because I couldn't find a heel one)?

Ooof, heel part?
That's tricky. It may because it's a block heel and the way it's constructed that has made the heel area very hard?
I can see if the block is made of wood or some very hard and solid material, which the weight of your body pushes down on the heel, all of the force of hard material will push back up. And if it's very dense and solid, I can see you feeling the pressure more.

Generally what I find hard are soles with no padding, thickness, or platform, but the heels tbh, I'm not sure.

Thanks @lill_canele , it looks to be from the same material as the rest but it's just painful. I was disappointed because the mules are so extremely comfortable, I hoped these would be as well.
