I recently came across the opportunity to purchase a small black loulou with black hardware in great overall condition (corners are perfect, inside is perfect, chain straps have no damage or chips). The only problem is the bag has a heavily scratched logo on the front. I've wanted one for quite some time but never pulled the trigger for one reason or another. The price is half of current retail. While it's obviously an excellent deal, I'm torn and the person selling it says that YSL will repair it. Does anyone know anything about this process? I do not live close to a YSL store (closest is about 3 hours away). Do they do repairs? Will that decrease the value if I decide to resell? If they will repair it, why wouldn't they have it repaired then try to sell it? What are your thoughts on this situation I've found myself in? Help!
