Heading to Milan and Florence - Where to buy Leather Jacket??

I am heading to Milan and Florence very very soon and one of my item on the shopping list is a leather jacket.

I really would like to buy italian leather one ...

Any suggestions on where i can get that?

The leather market in Florence, which is kind of horribly touristy. There are lots of leather stores around that area also, near the San Lorenzo church.

Ditto the rec for the leather market.. Got a couple of things there that i still enjoy 10 yearslater.. The quality is great... Be sure to haggle!!!!

I am hoping somewhere around 200bucks... Is that doable?

I heard the leather at the markets are all from china... They say def not a recomeneded place to shop...

There is a place in Florence--a leather school run by monks--that is just heaven. You can get a leather jacket there, probably in the price you mentioned. If you pay in cash and buy a lot you can get a discount.
