Michael Kors have you seen this before? (wallet question)

hey!

i bought these wallets a long time ago and meant to ask. have you ever seen this before?

they both came from the same department store (chain). the one on top i got through order. it came mailed with the plastic michael kors bag and tissue paper. the one below i picked up in-store.
the top one i question the most because it has that plastic layer. i've never seen that before. most michael kors wallets i see are like the one below with just the gold name plate.

My only comment would be to send pictures to Michael Kors customer service. Tell them you're concerned because you brought the bag from a legitimate retailer and received two different items. You just wanted to make sure this was actually a legitimate design change by them.

It's unusual to say the least.
