Have you ever used "moneybookers"?

My husband is planning on buying this motorcycle from someone who lives nearby, but happens to be in London working for sometime. So because this other guy is overseas, he is asking the money for the bike to be payed through money bookers. Has anyone ever used this before? My husband say its supposed to be more secure than pay pal...but I always like opinions from my fellow tPF'ers.

i heard it works like paypal but i dont think it protects you like paypal. stick w paypal

yep, did some research...sounds like a scam....poor hubby....the bike hunt continues
