I'm not really so sure. I was thinking maybe the placement of the date code.
Haven't you asked this question before? It looks 'normal' in the sense that it doesn't look abnormal, but a date code alone doesn't determine whether a bag is counterfeit or authentic. If authentic then the bag would've been MIU or MIF at some point in July of 2004.

It was for a different bag. And I know I'm just trying to differentiate authentic looking date codes vs fake ones. By font, size and placing.
You can always look on websites such as Yoogi's Closet as they have date codes for all of their merchandise posted and are highly reputable. It would be the perfect place to visualize what's real, although keep in mind that there are some natural variations between designs and sometimes even bags. Date codes also can have different colours depending on the item's materials/colour/if it's LE and they can also be moved to new locations from time to time.
