I just received the bag but noticed that a portion of the contrast stitching under the clasp appears to be crooked. Is this sort of stitching normal for Proenza?

If it's hand stitched it's not unusual, if you look closely you can see a few other aberrations as well but they don't seem to impair the bags function or aesthetic. However, my partners Amazon gift came wrapped nicer.

Even discounted it was 1300$ so I guess I'll have to think about it. Never had this type of experience with Hermes, D&G or LV... oh well maybe I was just lucky.

Congrats! The stitches on PS bags are usually good though, is it visible when carried with the flap closed?
Unfortunately it is since unlike the PS1 the bottom of the latch doesn't cover the bottom stitches and it is more glaring since it is black on grey.

I'm considering exchanging it for a Loewe Barcelona but I'll give it a couple of days to mull it over.

Would you say that it is fairly visible or am I just overreacting? I really love the design of this bag so I'm trying my best to keep it.
I think the style has more than the stitches for the eye to focus on so it could be ok - but as always it's if you are ok with it though.

It stood out to me personally. And paying that much I'd expect something like this to be on a second quality product.
