Michael Kors Hauling work stuff

I'm trying to come up with a solution to haul all my work stuff but still carry my Hamilton. I usually have my purse plus a bag with iPad and some files, then a water bottle, lunch box, smoothie cup, extra sweater.... I can't be the only one that carries too much junk?? What do you guys do?? Obvious solution is to carry a larger bag but I don't like being without my Hamilton, and if I run errands after work I don't want to be stuck carrying a huge tote bag around... Ideas?

When I have a lot of stuff to carry, I bring both 1) my n/s saffiano leather Hamilton tote and 2) my black soft leather Halston Heritage foldover tote (carry this every day in addition to my handbag). The Hamilton is my purse/tote that holds extra work stuff like a tablet, notebook, files, etc. The Halston Heritage tote is n/s, as well, and holds all my personal stuff like water bottle, lunch, extra sweater, change of shoes, etc. Because it's a soft leather n/s tote, it fits comfortably on my shoulder under my arm.

When it's a travel day or I have a ton to carry, I sometimes switch out both the Hamilton and Halston Heritage totes for my soft leather Miranda. My large Mirandas are even bigger than my n/s Hamilton totes. I just need to be more careful with them because they're soft leather.

I like these MK Gansevoorts for what you describe. What's really nice is the huge extra pockets ( 3 of them!) on the outside of the bag to put your cell, keys, lipstick and smaller stuff, and then you can fit your laptop in the main section with SIX more compartments inside! This bag takes it all! It also has a cross body strap to make it easier to carry all that stuff, then you can remove it at night and the regular straps still fit on your shoulder to wear out to dinner! It really is a great all around larger design, that doesn't look like a suitcase. It's very feminine and sexy looking and separates us from the boys! lol!

You can get them in leather or the canvas signature which is much lighter to carry, but the leather I am sure is more durable. I have one of each and I use them when I am traveling as a carryon and they are great! They originally retailed for 498.00, but can now be found at the outlets for much less. I seem to be the only one here who has them. I really am not sure why? I think they're awesome! Mine are just like these two, but i was too lazy to take pics! lol!

Same problem! I have just switched to Longchamp Le Pliage large long handle tote as my work bag but also carry my MK daily as well (typically large Selma or large Greenwich).

Good luck choosing!

Im on the same boat too..
Any suggestions from anyone..?! Ur welcome!!

The gansevoort is a really cute bag! But still not large enough for me. My problem with most bags is the width because a lunchbox won't fit in them. The long champ is a good idea though... that might be big enough and looks resilient enough to stand the test of time. It's a tote bag without really screaming "I'm a giant hideous tote bag" lol.

Sounds like a plan! The only thing I would add is the Long Champ is a bit pricey. There are a lot of no name nylon totes out there just as functional as a Long Champ. I found a large black n/s nylon tote with a zipper (18" x 15" x 5.5") that I use in place of my black soft leather Halston Heritage foldover tote when it's raining, and it was only $10 on Amazon.
