Has the Lafy Dior bag always had serial numbers

I have an older bag had it for years it looks authentic but I see no serial number under the label

Yes thats possibly authentic.

If the older ones w/o a serial number could be authentic is it a giveaway that the bag is fake if the back isn't stamped Made in Italy? as in there is nothing on the underside of the tag?

no, very few tags will have Christian Dior, Paris, (Made in Italy) on one side and nothing on the other. Cant find the pic at the moment, reinstalled my system and dont know whats where aaargh
