Has anyone sized a Eternity band?

Why would it need to be sized if you're buying it now? I'd buy the size that fits now and later add a horseshoe sizer or beads. I've never heard of anyone successfully resizing a full eternity without compromising the structure (ie stones popping out on a regular basis).

What are you trying to do? Up or down? They are not easily sized if at all. Your options for up are usually about 1/8 sz up by filing out the inside, and down just sizing beads or something inside.

Hi sjunky! I had my Tacori eternity band sized up after I had my last baby and it was accomplished with no problems. They showed me where it was done and you can't even tell. They sent it to Tacori and it took a couple of weeks but I am really happy with it and have been wearing it for the past two and half years and have had no problems with it whatsoever.

Thanks hun! Yes this was a Tiffany SA and she told me it can be done very clean now. It was always a taboo of resizing.

Great to know this from Tiffany. It looks like your SA must be knowledgable, mine said to put a horseshoe or butterfly.

But why would you laser it? What if you need to enlarge it? Cant Tiffany put a some banding or beads? If you ask me it is more practical. I've seen Cartier do the banding and it was so beautifully done, shining on the inside and just can't even tell, I'm sure Tiffany can do just as good.

Hey guys, is a horseshoe or butterfly the same as banding the inside rim? What is the right technical term that I can explain a jeweler to do this? Sorry for hijacking your thread.

O no. I don't think she said Tiffany would do it. She was telling me to take it to another jeweler.LOL

I think the laser makes a clean cut?
