I've seen it and tried it on in stores, but I don't own it.

It's a cute summer bag but personally I don't like paying luxury prices for non-leather bags.

I'd also be concerned about putting too much stuff in it, seeing that the strap is of a stronger material than the bag itself. That means that if it is heavy enough, the leather will pull up on the raffia an the raffia will stretch.
But of course, if you're not going to put much in it, it would probably be fine. :P

However, if you put an individual item that is small but has some weight, like a x-large iphone, be prepared for weight to be concentrated in one spot and cause the bag to sag down wherever that item lands. Perhaps a bag insert would help keep the structure and shape.

Thank you so much for your response, that was my concern. I actually saw they have this one now with has a leather bottom, but its a very large increase in price...https://www.ysl.com/en-us/panier-small-in-raffia-and-vegetable-tanned-leather-812992504.html

I’ve had this bag for less than a year. It was an impulse purchase for a vacation  I’ve used it for 2-3 vacation trips now - as a beach bag (it fits one towel and some beach essentials), as a daytime bag and even as a travel bag on a plane (fits tablet, small toiletry bag, headphones, etc). I think it held up pretty well, I didn’t really baby it, but I also haven’t used it a ton.
One thing I did notice though - the color of the raffia has darkened over time, in some spots darker. I don’t really mind it but I could see how some might be bothered by that.

I have the first one you mentioned. When the "medium" version came out this year I went to try it and realized it's waaaaay too large for me. Since they called it "medium", I reckoned there would be a small one and searched around. Just bought one 2 months ago and am loving it :) it's softer than other raffias out there, and very durable. And unlike the medium one where it droops when stuff's put in, the bottom's pretty firm and keeps in shape. Of course, I don't put stuff in that's super heavy. Attached me for reference. I'm 163cm.
