Has anyone seen the new Mason bag in Cadet?

I was wondering if anyone has seen the new Mason bag in Cadet blue that could tell me if the shade is bright and vibrant like the website photo (below) or if it is more like the navy shade of the new Cooper shoulder bag (also below). I told myself that I would get more use out of it in black and I really like the bag, but I just can’t get that gorgeous blue out of my mind. Sadly I no longer have a boutique in my state to be able to check it out in person. Thanks!

Hi! So I’ve seen both in person, and they’re actually both the same color cadet blue as the top Mason bag. I’m not sure if the bottom one is black, but it’s definitely not that dark in person.

It’s a beautiful bag, just very wide in my opinion. It is definitely more of a satchel style carry, I fear that it might be too bulky for even a shoulder strap.

I haven't seen the mason, but can tell you the Cooper doesn't look very much like the stock photo in person.

Thanks for your input PP119! I may just have to exchange it for the blue. You are right, it’s a very wide bag! 6 inches. But I like to hand carry and rarely even unwrap the shoulder strap so she is perfect for me.

I saw it today in person and thought the color was quite beautiful. I thought it was a tad deeper and darker than the pic above. It was a mysterious blue to my eyes, very pretty, but not navy in appearance. The truth is that lighting varies, even in a store, and this affects our perception of a bag's true color. I cannot judge a bag's color by the lighting at the back of my local Coach store; I have to bring a bag toward the front of the store (with the SA fully aware of what I am doing and why I am doing it) where there is some natural light, before I can determine if it is a color I like or would wear. Bags look very dark and dismal in the back of the store, but much brighter and cheerier at the front of the store. Even the SA said they should get better lighting in the back of the store. I am sure that the lighting used for the stock photos is very bright and it may distort our view (making colors more vivid than they actually are) as a result.

I am so curious about the Cadet Mason as well! Actually I’m intrigued by every bag in the cadet color [emoji23] I love the way the Mason looks in photos and the cadet version is on my list.
