it looks fantastic! you did a great job. When I first saw the pouch online I thought about doing a strap hack because I love the denim and the bags are so expensive. So glad to see yours. I did a strap hack on the LV xYK pumpkin pouch to save money, but ended up purchasing a bag too! but glad I have the pouch too. Please can you take a pic of the bottom of the bag. Ive been wondering how it looks.Hi! Well I was reaching wanting to hear what people thought about the denim Cosmetic GM too while I waited for mine. I have it now and I can say I love it! I do not use it as a toiletry tho. I DO think it's too expensive as a toiletry due to the materials used. Frankly it would not serve as a good toiletry for me due to all the vachetta and that the interior is not lined with a waterproof lining. My reason for purchasing was to convert it to a bag. For the price, as a bag, it's a great deal. The accessories to convert it was minimal. The size is perfect for me. I love the vachetta and the studs and the denim is just really cool. I know many people frown on those that convert their items to bags. I don't understand why. Lol. I got the vachetta strap and the felicie style chain from AiMere Luxury and the gold 2in round O rings from Amazon. I own other straps and accessories that will work nice too but I'm just loving this skinny vachetta strap that I got from Aimere. Aimere Luxury does have an encasement for the GM monogram canvas version but it's in the DE leather. There is supposedly a vachetta version that is coming out that will look great on the denim (and the monogram). When that is available I will be picking up that as well.
wow!Hi there! Thank you so much! I can't take the credit for the GM hack as I got the idea from youtuber LuxedwithRo. She did it on her monogram canvas GM version and that actually caused me to go to LV a year ago and buy the monogram canvas GM as well and I love it in canvas too! When I saw they made the GM in denim I decided to do the same thing! Lol. I actually like the denim more due to the vachetta and the studs and also the zipper pulls are nicer on the denim. I wish they had the vachetta bottom on the monogram version too!

The Aimere Luxury encasement is great for the cosmetic pouch! because the way I hacked it, it can flip since the strap attachment point is too low.Gosh I love it! It looks really cool! I wasn't into the LV x YK when it was first released; however just a few months ago it has finally started to grow on me! What took me so long? Lol. Now I want one! Smh. It's good that you got yours as in the resale market it will be more expensive. It looks cute as a little bag. I saw that Aimere Luxury has an encasement made just for that cosmetic pouch! Seriously I am not part of the marketing team but I just want to share as I think it's the cat's meow!
