  1. I am eyeing a dress with a back that is cut down to the small of my back, rendering a bra not possible. I am not a fan of adhesive bras, and was wondering if a talented seamstress could sew cups into the dress. Has anyone had this done and were you happy with the results? Or, do you have any other ideas?
  2. what is the front fabric like? it depends on the dress really - you have to have double lining of some sort of seams across the front to put them in without showing the obvious signs that they are in there. seams are key.
  3. I don't think that would offer any support--especially since it's backless. Why not just go bra-less? Or pasties?
  4. Braless is not an option. The dress is jersey; there is no lining. It would be quite an undertaking, I know they would have to create a slip with the cups, then sew it into the the side seams.

    But I think I found a solution: http://www.herroom.com/fashion-forms-29065-plunge-bodysuit.shtml
  5. If you are top heavy, IMO sewn in cups just aren't going to be enough support.

  6. oh that looks convenient
