I know about the coach rehab thread. I don't think anyone there really has any advice so I thought I would post here.
I got my bag today (bought on posh for $15). It's in good condition except for the rubbing. The thing is, it doesn't feel like it's rubbed off. It feels even with the rest of the bag.
I thought about just dying it black. I like the bronze but I'm simple and I like neutral bags.
Does anyone have any ideas??

The dark marks are where the color is rubbing off.

Ok I started dying this black. It's being a pain which I figured because of the finish of the metallic. The leather stripper actually took some of the metallic finish off.
The spots where I can't rub the dye in, I have to stamp it in. ImageUploadedByPurseForum1445570461.677703.jpg
It looks way more black in person. It still has a metallic sheen. I'm letting the one side dry then tomorrow I'll do the other.
I'm debating on leaving the handles bronze. I'm not sure yet!

WOW! I didn't think you could dye metallic like that. I have dyed MK bags but usually just black over black or brown over brown. Too chicken to try any other colors! lol! That looks like it turned out pretty good! Amazing! Do you hava a sealer to keep the dye from bleeding onto your clothing?? I know a really good one made by Fieblings, it is called Resolene. Just wipe the clear coating over the dye and it seals it so it never bleeds. Works great!
