Has anyone ever colour changed/dyed Python Skin?

Hello ladies, I'm in love with some python boots, but am hating the natural colour (yuck) and would love to see them in a gorgeous navy blue, has anyone ever colour changed Python skin before?
Would love to hear your thoughts

lol, i'm not mad, I just know what I want. Designers are always colour changing exotic skins, I just want to do it myself... just don't know what dye to use.

I want to be careful with it because I don't want it to peel or fall apart or something, hopefully someone's tried this before, after all you girls love dying your leather shoes!

You should probably ask a cobbler about this.

I doubt any of them will know, do you think it's too risky to try leather dye?
