Has anybody returned a sale item from LVR?

If it says non returnable in the description then that's what it means. I have bought and returned sale items in the past but it didn't say they were non-returnable. They used to do this for items with 50% discount and above, but I've noticed they're applying it more widely now - most of the 30% off stuff is non-returnable now.
I would assume that should the item be faulty, you would still be able to return it - that is a statutory right (well it is in the EU anyway).
