Any suggestions on where to find the type of individual that would be in the market for that calliber of ring. I am really not interested in posting on Ebay and having every scammer in the world trying to steal my ring.

If not, I think you're best off researching stores in your area that sell second hand jewelry. Not like a pawn shop but a reputable store that would consign it for you.

No returns at Harry Winston.

They will not even come close to a reasonable price with a jewelry store or consignment shop. I need to find an individual in the market for such a ring. Then I get a better deal and they still get a great deal.

There are a few websites that act as a middleman for individuals selling rings, but they are on the lower end of the price spectrum. There are no "namebrands" being sold on those websites.

Most people would not buy an expensive ring like this sight unseen so advertising online probably won't work. Since you know how much you paid, I would take it reputable jewelers and see what they quote. There is an online auction site called Portero (high end name pieces) that will handle auctioning the ring for you but they take a percentage.
