Hardware Scratches On a New Bag

Hi,

I'm just wondering if anyone had received brand new bags that have some abrasions on the hardware? I'm not sure if the hardware should be perfectly pristine or if some abrasions are normal.

I would think that any new bag you get should have a plastic film over the hardware so that it doesn't become scratched.
