Hardware protectors

Hello guys! I came across an Instagram account that sells screen protectors for any designer handbag that goes over the hardware so that it doesn’t scratch. The ig name is @thehandbaghaven. I was wondering if this is safe to do or will it ruin the hardware if I were to put on a protector on it? I read somewhere that the protectors have acid on them and that it will stain the hardware. Was wondering if any of you guys use protectors ?IMG_8136.JPG

Wow I did not know such thing exist! I wonder if they will peel off easily like the original plastic film that came with the bag... (Sorry I am not helping here haha)

Lol it’s okay ! Yeah I saw them on IG and wanted to know if it would harm the actual hardware in any way. I don’t want to risk it[emoji848]

I found these threads, not exactly about the company you mentioned. But it's interesting to see what people think when they leave the film on their bags, and nice to see someone did a bit of creative DIY!

I bought from that company to use on my LV favorite MM and my Pochette Métis. I have been using it on my Favorite for one year and it looks in pristine condition. I didn’t put on my PM yet because the original plastic was still good. I have no complaints and the protector is not peeling off
