I usually wear silver or gunmetal HW, but I thnk on WOCs, especially those by Saint Laurent, gold hardware looks better. Not that there's anything wrong with any other color of hardware. Depends on what kind of jewelry you're wearing and the color of your outfit.

Yeah, I wear more cool toned clothes and silver jewelry but I got a great deal on the gold hardware. The silver keeps haunting me though haha! That’s why I posted this Tgank you for sharing! I do think that the gold is more luxe.

I was so sure I preferred silver (I wear a lot of black and gray), but when I tried the envelope in gold in the store, I fell in love. I also wear a lot of gold jewelry. I ended up buying the gold because it seemed more luxurious. Nothing wrong with the silver—I’m looking to get something in silver, too!

I agree that the gold is so luxurious! I’m sure your bag is stunning! I think the real issue is that YSL is so pretty in all color ways and hardware styles that it makes us want them all haha - painful for our wallets. Enjoy your bag! Did you add it in a reveal thread?
