Hardware durability on matte LV Twist

Hello, I’m hoping anyone can give me some feedback on whether the matte black finish on the hardware of this bag is durable?
I’m worried about the twist lock rubbing over itself; does this cause scratches and if so, do the scratches reveal a different colour (eg silver) underneath?
I’m not expecting hardware to remain pristine but if the scratches are going to look extra obvious due to the matte black, I’d like to be prepared and take that into account during my decision making

I own a Twist PM and the turnable part of the LV hardware doesn’t touch the inner one if that makes sense. It hovers and rotates on a mechanism.

As for wear, the matte coating on the turnable part may scratch off over time but it could take some rough handling to do so.
