Happy dilemma - which ring to choose?

For our tenth wedding anniversary my husband is upgrading my 1.5 carat ring to a 2 carat one.

Since I never loved my original setting we are changing the whole ring. Now which one to go for?

(The round diamond is not the diamond we'd buy, the guy just placed one in the setting to give us an idea of what it would look like. Obviously the prongs would be set properly and not be noticeable)

Ahhhh if only I could have both!!!

Is your original ring the insanely beautiful round halo ring shown in the bal owners watch brand thread? If so, I cannot believe that it's only 1.5ct. I thought it was around 3ct!

The yellow diamond is TDF! Do you also get to keep your original ring?

Tartanwife - the that was my original ring -- it was gorgeous. It got badly damaged and was not able to be fixed. As much as I loved that ring, my husband is very superstitious and felt we should get something new.

Now I have to wait while my husband searches for the perfect stone and has the ring made (he's a diamond buyer - love his job!!!)
