Hello all, this is my first post. I've done a little reading, and so far haven't come across an answer to this question. Are there any LV handbags that are sold exclusively in France? I will be traveling there next week, and thought it would be fun to purchase a bag while there, and an exclusive one would be even more special. I chatted online with someone on louisvuitton.com, but they said they don't have that information. But I bet someone does! So I thought I would ask. Thanks in advance!

One thing US buyers like about buying in Paris is that the bag will be made in France. Some of the popular bags in the US are made in US with leather or cloth tags, but if you go to France you'll get a France bag without those tags. So that could make it special for you. That and the VAT refund. Enjoy your trip!

Yes, like everyone have said, the few reasons many people like to make a purchase in France:
1. Sentimental value since Vuitton is a French brand
2. Cheaper (VAT refund)
3. Popular bags are likely to be made in France which is a matter of life and death to many
France itself isn't a very big enough market for LV to make exclusives to sell. The only country that Vuitton has done a lot of really exclusive launches in recent history is Japan.

As the previous poster stated, the only country exclusive items LV has made have been in Japan. Aside from that, the only thing I can think of are the special edition luggage tags they made for each city that they had the Volez, Voguez, Voyagez exhibit in. But I think that tour has ended now.
